India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has asserted that India will take decisive action against terrorists who attempt to disturb the peace within the country or carry out terrorist activities.
Singh responded to recent claims made by The Guardian, a British newspaper, alleging Indian intelligence agencies’ involvement in targeted killings in Pakistan since 2020. Singh vehemently refuted these claims, emphasizing that India’s stance on targeted killings in foreign territories remains unchanged.
Singh stated, “If terrorists from the neighboring country try to disturb the peace in Bharat or try to carry out terror activities in Bharat, we will give them a befitting reply.” He further added, “If they run away to Pakistan, we will enter Pakistan to kill them. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken the truth. India has the capability, and Pakistan has also started understanding that.”

Asserting India’s commitment to maintaining peaceful relations with its neighbors, Singh highlighted India’s history of not initiating aggression against any nation or encroaching upon their territory.
However, he warned that India would not hesitate to respond firmly if its sovereignty is threatened by acts of terrorism.
Regarding Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Singh expressed confidence that the people of PoK would eventually seek to reunite with India. He cited recent demonstrations in the region as evidence of the desire for integration with India, particularly following the abrogation of Article 370. Singh reiterated India’s unwavering stance on the territorial integrity of Arunachal Pradesh, emphasizing that it has been and will always remain an integral part of India.
