"Not everyone in the courts is bad. I respect the judiciary. But the person who has given this order... I will not accept it," CM asserted while addressing an election rally at Panihati of the Dumdum parliament constituency.

The Allahabad High Court has said that the fundamental right of every person to personal freedom also includes choosing one's partner. The court has ordered to provide police protection to a person living in a live-in relationship with a transgender woman.

In response to the heightened security concerns, the Delhi government issued advisories urging educational institutions to remain vigilant and monitor official communications closely.
