Basti: Union Minister Anurag Thakur, while addressing a public meeting in Kaptanganj before the nomination of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Harish Dwivedi, said that Congress is planning to collect tax even after death. Congress has lost its support base among the people. “BJP’s Modi government is winning with a huge majority for the third time. In such a situation, the opposition parties are misleading the public by making many false promises,” he said.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur while attacking the opposition said that some people are talking about Jihad. “This country is not run by any fatwa or decree but by the Constitution of Baba Saheb,” he emphasized. He said that PM Narendra Modi’s basic mantra is Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. “The days of fatwa and jihad are gone,” he remarked. He said that the previous Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh had harassed and jailed honest officers. People who call themselves grass roots leaders have cleared their own land.
Attacking Congress, he said that Congress is trying to divide the country by making the person who wants to divide the country as its candidate. The people of the country will not let them succeed. Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi should tell him how much tax he will collect from the public in the name of inheritance tax. It should be made clear how much Stree Dhan Tax will be collected from women. Talking about tax without any criteria is childish.
He said that the people have completely rejected those who opened fire on Ram devotees, insulted the patriots and also those who divided the country and the state. People have faith only in Modi. This time in the Lok Sabha elections we will complete the target of crossing 400. After holding a public meeting in Kaptanganj, Anurag Thakur also reached the nomination site along with MP candidate Harish Dwivedi. Minister Sanjay Nishad, Apna Dal leader and minister Ashish Patel and minister Dara Singh Chauhan in the Yogi government were present.
