BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has criticized Samajwadi Party chief and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav’s recent statement. Akhilesh Yadav referred to the newly elected MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad, as the “King of Ayodhya.” In his statement, Akhilesh praised Awadhesh Prasad as a defender of democracy, calling him the “Raja of Ayodhya.”
ये अनादार है,… pic.twitter.com/qcEB6VWVyC

In response, BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh asserted that the true king of Ayodhya is Lord Shri Ram. Rajeshwar Singh questioned the fairness of comparing the revered figure of Lord Ram, who is beloved by millions of Hindus, to an MP. He emphasized that history has shown that Ayodhya, Lord Ram, and Sanatan Dharma were insulted by the Mughals, the British, and now by Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks. Singh labeled these comments as disrespectful, unfair, and arrogant.
Akhilesh Yadav made his remarks while criticizing the BJP for neglecting the defenders of democracy. He claimed that the Samajwadi Party and its founder, Mulayam Singh Yadav, had increased support for these defenders, while the BJP had reduced their recognition. Akhilesh pointed out that there is an act providing an honorarium to those who fight for the protection of democracy. He argued that if the BJP truly supported these defenders, it should double the honorarium.
