The Mumbai unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated Dev Deepawali with grandeur by organising a live telecast of the holy Ganga Aarti from Kashi Vishwanath Ghat in Varanasi.
The event, held as part of the Hindu Samvad Mahotsav, was broadcast live across eight major locations in all parliamentary constituencies of Mumbai.
Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the sacred ceremony. Many lit diyas and performed aarti, symbolising devotion and unity.
The atmosphere was filled with chants, prayers, and the spirit of Sanatan Dharma. Participants also pledged to preserve and promote the eternal traditions of Indian culture.
Several prominent leaders graced the event. Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLAs Mihir Kotecha and Captain Tamil Solvin attended the celebrations.
Acharya Pawan Tripathi, Treasurer of the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple Trust and Vice President of Mumbai BJP, was also present.
Mumbai BJP District President Deepak Bala Tawde and Advocate Gyan Murti Sharma joined other senior leaders and office bearers to mark the occasion.
Other notable attendees included Virendra Mahatre, Deepak Dalvi, Shalaka Tai, Neeraj Ubhare, Municipal Corporator Kamlesh Yadav, Ravi Raja, Sangeeta Sharma, Krishna Ben Reddy, and Srinivas Tiwari.
Devotion Unites Mumbai BJP
Mumbai BJP Secretary Pramod Mishra, North Indian Morcha President Jai Prakash Singh, and Slum Morcha President RD Yadav also participated actively.
The event witnessed strong participation from grassroots leaders and party workers.
District General Secretaries Nitin Bankar, Appa Belvarkar, Sandeep Ghughe, and Lorik Yadav were among the organisers ensuring the program’s success.
Senior BJP leaders such as Nitesh Singh, Kamlesh Shukla, and Balwant Verma attended the celebrations.
Meanwhile, Ramakant Gupta, Reshma Mahesh Chaugule, Sanjay Yadav, and Rajan Singh also participated.
Divesh Yadav, Advocate Vikash Singh, Rashmi Upadhyay, Deepu Singh, and Ajay Chaurasia joined them at the event.
The event became a symbol of spiritual unity and devotion. The live telecast connected Mumbai’s devotees directly with the sacred vibes of Kashi.
