26th Hepatitis Day Observance: Team ILBS is celebrating 26th Hepatitis Day on 4th December in Delhi, under which a discussion is being organized. This event will be held at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Delhi.
Many distinguished people will also participate in this discussion. Delhi Government’s Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has been invited as the chief guest in this discussion.

Let us tell you, delay in treatment of hepatitis can lead to jaundice and then liver cirrhosis or liver cancer. There are five types of infections in hepatitis: A, B, C, D and E.

Raising public awareness of the problem and the actions that must be taken to strengthen efforts at viral hepatitis prevention, screening, and control is the aim of World Hepatitis Day.
