UP Police of Mau district has reached a new low out of arbitrariness. The reckless SO of Bhujauti, Shailesh Singh, had sent two constables and forcibly took the DJ along with the car to the police station to seize it. This incident took place at Akhand Pratap Singh’s wedding while the baraat was going to Ghazipur. The procession stopped thereupon hence relatives asked the police officer to release the DJ only to be threatened to bring an order from the court. A series of convincing and requesting followed that went in vain and the baraat has to be stopped for many hours.
The Mau police that boasts to be friendly police is unnecessarily harassing people. Perhaps this is why a marriage ceremony has been stalled for the last several hours. The family members are standing outside the police station in the hope that if the DJ is released by the police, the procession will go ahead, but SO Shailesh Singh has turned a deaf ear to all appeals.
Common people are still waiting with hopes in their eyes, the eyes that were filled with joy until this incident. The eyes that are eagerly waiting to see the bride and groom together.
