Most of the problems faced in organizing Ramlila have been solved. With this, the organizers will be able to organize Ramlila in a better way. It has been decided to drastically reduce the fees charged to those organizing Ramlila on BMC grounds. Has been cut in half. Fire brigade fees have been completely abolished. Apart from this, the organizers will not have to run from door to door to get permission. One window system will be created so that all types of permissions can be obtained in one place.
There were many problems in organizing Ramlila in Mumbai. Organizers used to make rounds in the concerned department carrying files. The same thing was happening this time as well. Ramlila organizers were upset due to not getting permission from various agencies for Ramlila. The initiative to solve the problems of Ramlila organizers was taken by Mumbai Suburban District Guardian Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
Taking cognizance, he himself called a meeting at BMC headquarters on Friday in which BMC officials, the police department, the fire brigade, and other concerned department officials participated. Senior BJP leader Acharya Pawan Tripathi made an important contribution in coordinating the Ramlila organizing committee for the meeting.
In the meeting, Suresh Mishra of Maharashtra Ramlila Mandal, Ranjit Singh, Vinay Mishra of Sahitya Kala Manch, Virendra Singh of Seva Kendra, Adarsh Ramlila Ramdrak Aggarwal, Chandrashekhar Shukla of Ramlila Utsav Committee, Rakesh Pandey of Maharashtra Ramlila Samiti Utsav Committee, and Sankalp of Ramlila Committee Rajesh Mishra, etc. were present.
The organizers presented their views in detail in the meeting. Foster Minister Lodha said that the organizers of Ramlila should express their views openly so that their problems can be solved forever. The organizers should not need anyone’s recommendation. In such a situation, the organizers put forth their problems.
On this, Guardian Minister Lodha told BMC officials that their problems are not very big. It is not right to harass the organizers over small issues. The organizers of Ramlila are taking our culture and heritage forward; hence, it is not right at all to harass them. Especially those organizing Ramlila at Azad Maidan face a lot of problems. Guardian Minister Lodha ordered to reduce the fees charged by BMC by 50 percent on any ground where Ramlila is organized. The fee charged by the fire brigade should be abolished completely because it is the responsibility of the brigade to provide such facilities. One more thing: make arrangements to give permission to those organizing Ramlila through one window.
