Maha Kumbh 2025: Hindu Devotees From Pakistan Take Sacred Dip

The grand Maha Kumbh festival continues to attract devotees from across the world to Prayagraj, where millions gather to take a sacred dip in the holy Triveni Sangam.

Among the many pilgrims, a group of 68 Hindu devotees from Sindh province, Pakistan, have made their way to Prayagraj to participate in this divine event, offering a deeply spiritual and personal experience.

Their arrival highlights the far-reaching significance of the Maha Kumbh, which has already seen nearly 40 crore participants.

Maha Kumbh: Journey Rooted In Faith & Tradition

The group of 68 devotees from Pakistan arrived in Prayagraj on a special visa to perform rituals to immerse the ashes of their ancestors. Before reaching the Sangam, they had visited Haridwar, where they immersed the ashes of 480 of their ancestors and performed rites for their spiritual peace.

Afterward, they traveled to Prayagraj to take the holy dip in the Sangam, an act that they believe brings spiritual fulfillment not just for themselves but also for their ancestors.

Mahant Ramnath Ji, who accompanied the group, explained that this visit was the fulfillment of a long-held spiritual wish. The devotees, deeply connected to the Sanatan faith, shared that they had always yearned to experience the Maha Kumbh, take a holy dip in the Sangam, and bring back sacred water.

For them, this was not just a personal spiritual journey but a way to honor their ancestors and fulfill their family’s wishes.

Maha Kumbh: Praise For Grand Arrangements

Overwhelmed by the divine grandeur of the Maha Kumbh, the Pakistani devotees expressed their gratitude for the seamless arrangements. They praised both the Government of India and the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for facilitating their participation in this monumental event.

The devotees specifically highlighted the exceptional arrangements at Maha Kumbh, including the atmosphere, food, and cleanliness. They compared their experience to life in Pakistan, where they are not permitted to visit temples, making this visit even more profound and spiritually fulfilling.

Maha Kumbh: Sacred Fulfillment For Devotees

The group of devotees shared that they felt deeply blessed not only for themselves but also for their parents and ancestors, who they believe have now found salvation.

Having grown up hearing stories of the sacred land of Prayagraj and the Triveni Sangam, the devotees expressed that finally bathing in the holy Ganga brought them a sense of spiritual completion.
