Bhopal: On the occasion of International Tiger Day, Madhya Pradesh once again adorns the title of “The Tiger State” as it proudly retains its tiger emblem. According to the recently released report “Status of Tigers in India – Predators and Prey in 2022,” the tiger count in Madhya Pradesh has reached an impressive 785, a significant increase from 526 tigers in the year 2018.

Based on the data from the Jim Corbett National Park in Nainital district, Uttarakhand, the report reveals that the country’s total tiger count stands at 3167, with Madhya Pradesh alone hosting 785 majestic felines.
