Lok Sabha adjourned over ruckus caused
The ruling and opposition parties are going in two different directions when it comes to Lok Sabha sessions. Hence, the Budget session is not coming out as fruitful as it should be. In the second leg of the budget session as well, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm because of the ruckus caused in the sabha.
The opposition party desires to discuss the Adani-Hidenburg matter. Whereas, the ruling party leaders are constantly asking for apologies from Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on India in the UK. It seems that none of the two sides wish to come together at a common point
The proceedings of the Lok Sabha
Just a few minutes had passed after the starting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha when both the houses were adjourned till 2 pm. It was followed by the demand of opposition MPs for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry into the Adani stocks issue.
JPC – When a motion is approved by one house and supported or accepted by the other house, a joint parliamentary committee is created. The two presiding leaders of both chambers may write to one another, communicate with one another, and then form the joint parliamentary committee as a second method of formation.
The leaders came close to the speaker’s well while demanding the same and a lot of chaos was created. The ruling party of BJP tried to cut through the topic by raising the topic of Rahul Gandhi’s remarks. Their attempt was to divert the debate in a different direction. Both sides paid no heed to each other and continued with their own rant.
This matter continued even outside of the Parliament. The rivalry between BJP and Congress leaders over Rahul Gandhi’s comments and the Adani issue continued to be a source of tension.

Allegations from Congress Party
Congress party stated that their audio was muted as soon as they started raising their slogans. They wished to say that Rahul should be allowed to reply to that blames that has been put on him by BJP. Their claim was that there was no audio in the house for about 20 minutes while proceedings were going on.
However, government sources reported that it was a ‘technical’ issue and not a deliberate attempt to silence the voices of opposition party leaders.
