Param Pujyapad Shri Uria Baba Ji Maharaj was a revered saint in India, known for his exemplary life and teachings that inspired countless individuals. His 75th Nirvana day, marking his passing, is on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Throughout his life, he guided devotees with grace, devotion, and profound knowledge. Under the blessings of Most Revered Swami Shri Akhandanand Saraswati and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Brahmalin Swami Shri Swaroopanand Saraswati, the Shri Oriya Baba Ashram in Vrindavan Dham continues to thrive.

He shared profound spiritual connections with contemporary saints such as Pujya Swami Shri Karpatri Ji Maharaj, Shri Hari Baba Ji, and Shri Shri Ma Anandamoyee, among others. Notable devotees included Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Shantanand Saraswati and Maharishi Kartikeya Ji.

From a young age, Param Pujyapad Shri Uria Baba ji Maharaj exhibited extraordinary abilities. He was known for his selflessness, providing for others even in the most challenging circumstances. He healed the sick, alleviated financial burdens, and offered guidance, all while maintaining humility.

His spiritual journey led him to profound experiences, including a divine encounter with Maa Jagadamba in Kamakhya, which deepened his spiritual practice. Devotees revered him as omniscient and omnipotent, experiencing miraculous incidents in his presence.

Param Pujyapad Shri Uria Baba ji Maharaj emphasized the power of chanting, particularly the recitation of Durga mantras. He stressed the importance of devotion and meditation, guiding followers towards a deeper connection with the divine.

The Shri Uria Baba ji Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan attracted devotees from far and wide, offering a sanctuary for seekers and saints alike. Following his passing, devotees erected a grand temple in his honour at the Shri Krishna Ashram in Vrindavan, where his idol remains a focal point of devotion for followers, continuing his legacy of spiritual guidance and enlightenment.
