Kumbh Mela 2025 will be spread over 4000 hectares of land, UP Chief Secretary keeping a close eye on Prepairations

This year Maha Kumbh 2025 will be organized in area of 4000 hectares of land under the strict vigil of Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) which will be equipped with world class facilities. 308 high definition cameras based on AI based technology will count the devotees and keep an eye on the crowd pressure. Similarly 1.45 lakh toilets will be built in the fair area for the devotees and travelers.

The Chief Secretary said that modern technology should be used to organize the Kumbh Mela in a clean, beautiful, green and safe manner. He said that there should be no compromise on quality and timeliness in the projects under construction. All work should be long term.The devotees should get the facility to complain about dirty toilets through QR code, he added.

This year the command center will be the first to receive information as soon as a fire occurs. Parking area will be monitored through AI. 720 normal CCTV and 480 AI based cameras will be installed in 120 parking areas. There will be continuous monitoring of 200 very important locations with the help of CCTV surveillance cameras at 744 places. 180 CCTV cameras will be installed at the railway stations and bus stand of Prayagraj.
The Maha Kumbh 2025 fair helpline number 1920 will have a capacity of fifty lines. Apart from this, 1107 cameras already installed will be integrated with the control room to keep an eye on 268 locations in the entire city.
