Kangana Ranaut's Request For CM’s Suite In Maharashtra Sadan Sparks Controversy
Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s made request for the Chief Minister’s suite in Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. Which ignited a heated exchange between the ruling Mahayuti and Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi on today.
Kangana Ranaut, representing Lok Sabha MP in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, expressed her interest in staying in the luxurious CM’s suite at Maharashtra Sadan in the national capital.

Shiv Sena MP and Chief Spokesperson Sanjay Raut criticized her request as absurd, suggesting sarcastically, “why she can’t stay in the Rashtrapati Bhavan instead of eyeing Maharashtra Bhavan.”
Congress ex-minister Yashomati Thakur suggested that as a newly elected MP, Ranaut might not be aware of the protocols, which could explain her request.
NCP National Spokesperson Clyde Crasto recalled that only three years ago, Ranaut had compared Mumbai and Maharashtra to Pakistan during a dispute with CM Uddhav Thackeray. He commented that why she didn’t contest the LS polls from Maharashtra if it was her “second home.”
Defending Kangana, BJP MLA Nitesh N Rane accused MVA leaders of hypocrisy, referencing the reported stay of disgraced ex-cop Sachin Vaze at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence. He also attacked Sanjay Raut, saying that Kangana Ranaut is an elected MP unlike Raut whom he accused of making “a backdoor entry to Parliament through Rajya Sabha.”
Caught in the middle, officials noted that as an MP from Himachal Pradesh, Ranaut should have addressed her request to Himachal Bhawan authorities rather than Maharashtra Sadan, diplomatically brushed off her plea.
