India posted 211/6 at Karogi Sports Park in Nisshin after Pakistan opted to field.
Abhishek Sharma set up the innings with a blistering 61 off 28 balls, while Tilak Varma finished strongly with an unbeaten 51 off 22 deliveries.
Shiv Dube contributed during the late surge as India crossed the 200-run mark.
Pakistan mounted a strong chase, with Hasan Nawaz keeping the contest alive through a 96 off 51 balls.
India, however, held its composure in the closing stages.
Dube provided the decisive moment on the final delivery by dismissing Nawaz, restricting Pakistan to 192/6 and securing the 19-run win.
The result handed India back-to-back Asian Games gold medals in men’s cricket, following its triumph at the 2023 edition.
The victory completed a successful cricket campaign for India at Aichi-Nagoya, with the women’s team having earlier won gold after defeating Sri Lanka in the final.
