On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the world was referring to India as its friend and that the nation saw itself as a “Vishwamitra.” Speaking at a function in Kanha Shanti Vanam, which is roughly 50 kilometers from Hyderabad, the prime minister added that the nation suffered great loss when people who had previously oppressed it assaulted its customs, including yoga, wisdom, and ayurveda.

India in development views itself as the universe’s friend, Vishwamitra. He remarked, “I don’t need to tell the world that India is your friend; the world says India is our friend. Look at how we stood with the world after Corona (virus).”

With reference to the evolving geopolitical landscape, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 outbreak, the prime minister stated that the power of 140 crore Indians is being mirrored in the shifting global landscape.
