I have done great things in this short life with a shroud on my head – Swati Maliwala’s reply on BJP’s allegations of ‘fake sting’

Swati Maliwal: Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal said that those who think that they will scare me by talking false and dirty things about me, let me tell them that I have done great things in this short life by tying a shroud on my head.

Swati Maliwal Vs BJP: Politics seems to be starting on the matter of harassment with Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission. In fact, questions have been arising on the claims of molestation as the BJP termed it as drama and conspiracy. Now Swati Maliwal has hit back at BJP on this matter.

Reacting to this matter, she said, “Those who think that they will scare me by talking false and dirty things about me, let me tell them that I have done many big things in this short life by tying a shroud on my head. There were many attacks on me but I did not stop. With every atrocity, the fire inside me grew stronger. No one can suppress my voice, I will keep fighting till I am alive.”

It was said that the youth accused by Swati Maliwal is a member of Aam Aadmi Party. BJP leader Shazia Ilmi tweeted that Maliwal’s ‘drama’ has been exposed. Aam Aadmi Party did a drama to defame Delhi Police and serious questions were raised about its credibility. Is cheap politics justified on the serious issue of women’s safety?

While sharing a video on this matter, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, “In the video, Harish Chandra Suryavanshi can be seen posing with the Aam Aadmi Party MLA. He had appreciated the Delhi Police for arresting the accused in the case but termed the case as a ‘fake sting’.

Swati Maliwal Vs BJP: What is the whole matter?

The case of molestation and harassment at Gate No. 2 of AIIMS with Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, had come to the fore when she herself tweeted! She mentioned “A drunk Baleno car driver stopped near me, and asked me to sit in the car with bad intentions. On my refusal, he left and came back after taking a U-turn from the service lane. The driver once again asked me to sit in the car.” Maliwal strongly criticized him and narrated – when she reached the driver’s side window, the car driver quickly rolled up the window glass and her hand got stuck in the car as she was dragged for 10-15 meters.
