‘Hindu Raksha Sankalp Yatra’ In Sarojini Nagar Of Lucknow; BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh Demands Economic Sanctions

The demonstaration took place in Sarojini Nagar constituency of Uttar Pradesh, protested the attacks on minorities in the coustry following the ousting of Sheikh Hasina in August.

BJP MLA from Sarojini Nagar in Lucknow, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh led “Hindu Raksha Sankalp Yatra” with aim to highlight the plight of minorities in Bangladesh.

The demonstaration, took place in Sarojini Nagar constituency of Uttar Pradesh, protested the attacks on minorities in the coustry following the ousting of Sheikh Hasina in August.

Thousands of people gathered to demand stability in Bangladesh and an end to the attacks on minorities, particularly Hindus.

From the stage, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh lashed out at Priyanka Gandhi along with critcizing the Bangladesh for the targeting of Hindus and other minorities. Hitting out at Congress leader, Priyanka Gandhi, Singh said tha Priyanka supposts Palestine and Hamad as she wishes to please Muslims in India.

Attacking Congress, Dr. Singh said that the seige of the Assembly in UP was a political stunt with no meaningful purpose.

Sharing a glimps of rally on an X post, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh expressed his anger over the situation in the neighbouring country. Singh claimed that there has been 2000 incidents of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, emphasising drastic surge in violence after 5 August 2024.

Along with criticizing the neighbouring country, Singh apealed Indian government to impose economic sanctions on Bangladesh and bring strict lawa to stop infiltration. Expressing concern on declining population of Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan, Singh called it a sign of danger to the safety and dignity of Hindus

Notably, a country wide protest of students in Bangladesh ousted Sheikh Hasina, resulting in her flee and unrest in the country.
