Chandrayaan-3 completes its orbits of the Earth and moves toward the Moon in accordance with its mission. ISRO successfully injected the spacecraft into a translunar orbit using a perigee-firing at ISTRAC. Moon is the next station. After the spacecraft was successfully inserted into the translunar orbit, Isro tweeted that the Lunar-Orbit Insertion (LOI) is scheduled for August 5, 2023, when it will reach the moon.
The lunar injection took place on Monday between 12 and 12.30am, according to officials.
According to Isro officials, the Chandryaan-3 mission is proceeding according to plan, and the spacecraft’s health is at this time normal.

Isro successfully launched Chandrayaan-3 into orbit on July 14 in the late afternoon using Launch Vehicle Mark-3, formerly known as the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mk-III. India will become the fourth nation to set foot on the moon’s surface and the first to do a soft landing close to the moon’s south pole when the spacecraft arrives there after a 40-day journey.

The ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network) perigee-firing was successful. The spacecraft has been sent into a translunar orbit by ISRO, the statement stated.
“Up next, the moon. The Lunar-Orbit Insertion (LOI), scheduled for August 5, 2023, will occur when the craft approaches the moon.
According to an ISRO official , the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft left its orbit of the earth after Tuesday’s trans-lunar injection (TLI) and is now traveling toward the Moon’s vicinity.
In other words, the spacecraft left the Earth’s orbit on Tuesday after the TLI maneuver, which put it on a “lunar transfer trajectory,” and started its trek towards the Moon. On August 23, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had announced that it would try a soft landing of the lander on the moon’s surface.
Prior to this, the orbit of the spacecraft was gradually boosted by five times following the July 14 launch of the Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon.
