MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan calls the state his home and the people as his family. Like the head of the family, he is taking full care of every member. On Monday, the Chief Minister announced to provide all facilities to guest scholars like family members.

The Chief Minister called a panchayat of guest scholars at his residence. In this he has announced that guest scholars working in all government colleges will not be given hourly but monthly salary, which will be up to Rs 50 thousand. Also, no guest scholar will be excluded.

The Chief Minister said that guest scholars will also be given leave like government servants. Guest scholars will now be able to take transfer to their nearby college. Ending the uncertainty of their jobs, it was decided that the fallen out guest scholars would also be placed on the vacant posts. Along with this, the Chief Minister also made it clear that all these decisions will be applicable in technical education also. That means guest teachers of Polytechnic and ITI will also get relief.

25 percent reservation for guest scholars in PSC recruitment

Making a big announcement, the Chief Minister said that guest scholars will be given 25% reservation in the recruitment examination to be conducted through PSC. For this, the rules of PSC will be amended. Guest scholars will be given 10% bonus marks in the recruitment process. No guest scholar will be excluded. Guest lecturers from ITI will also be given an honorarium of Rs 20 thousand. About four and a half thousand guest scholars from across the state participated in this panchayat of guest scholars. These included guest lecturers under the Technical Education Department.
