Bhupendra Patel will take oath as Gujarat CM again
Gujarat state is all set to witness swearing in of its Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel again today. The oath ceremony is to be held at two in the afternoon in Gandhinagar.
Significantly during the Gujarat CM oath today, along with the Prime Minister there will also be two hundred saints to attend the ceremony in Gandhinagar.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with Nitin Gadkari and other central ministers will be present in the grand Gujarat Chief Minister swearing-in ceremony.
The BJP’s kicks of its seventh term in power in Gujarat from today on with a grand oath ceremony for CM Bhupendra Patel. Patel had replaced ex-chief minister Vijay Rupani last year in the month of September.
As per the estimation, a total number of twenty five cabinet ministers will also take an oath with Bhupendra Patel. Thrashing the speculations of the concerns about growing anti-incumbency, Bharatiya Janata Party had achieved a landslide win in the state – with a victory over one hundred and fifty six seats of Gujarat’s one hundred and eighty two seats including fifty three per cent vote share.
Along with the allies, Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states will also attend the ceremony. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his Deputy Devendra Fadnavis are going to be among the dignitaries on the occasion.
BJP would like to proceed with a combination of new and experienced faces. According to sources, Alpesh Thakor, who won the election after coming to BJP from Congress, can get a place in the new cabinet. Tribal leaders Ganpat Vasava and Naresh Patel are also likely to be made ministers in the cabinet. Harsh Shanghvi can get a place in the cabinet for the second time. Shankar Chowdhary can also get a place in the cabinet who was a minister in the Anandiben Patel government.
