Flights To Tel Aviv Suspended Till October 14 By Air India

In a statement Air India has announced that they are suspending the flights to and fro Tel Aviv till 14th of this month.  Hamas militants has attacked Israel after which they retaliated and plenty of people killed in the process.

This step has been taken to ensure the safety of passengers and the crew members. For the people who booked Air India tickets till this time will be given full support. This was stated in a media release by Air India.

The carrier operates five days a week from New Delhi to Tel Aviv. With the operating days being Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

With the Hamas militants attacking Israel Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his solidarity with Israel Modi’s Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu termed the incident that the country is at war.

Till the last reports came in about 1000 people lost their lives and 2000 people were seriously wounded.  Apart from India, United States, Germany has stood by Israel. Tensions have escalated in the Israel – Lebanon border as well as both countries exchanged artillery and rocket fire.
