Fitistan Ek Fit Bharat, in collaboration with India’s largest bank, the State Bank of India, is commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with a grand tribute and fitness challenge honoring the 527 Braveheart soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation’s protection.

The Kargil conflict, which commenced on May 3rd, 1999, and concluded on July 26th, 1999, spanned 85 days of courageous battles between Indian and Pakistani soldiers, culminating in a resounding victory for India. To mark this historic event, the challenge will run for the same duration, requiring participants to complete a total of 630,000 steps through walking or running.

Registration for this noble endeavor is entirely free, although participants have the option to purchase commemorative medals and tee-shirts. To qualify for a medal, participants must achieve 527,000 steps, while reaching 630,000 steps will earn them eCertificates.
