On the birth anniversary of Dr Rajendra Prasad, Dr Anoop Kumar Srivastava, National President of the All India Kayastha Samaj Sabha, paid tribute at Rajendra Bhawan, New Delhi. He garlanded a statue of Dr Prasad and presented a shawl in his honor. Senior office bearers, including Shri Ashok Srivastava and Shri D.K. Saxena, also offered floral tributes during the event.
Dr Anoop Kumar Srivastava thanked the large gathering of Chitransh community members. He credited Dr. Rajendra Prasad for shaping the Constitution, emphasizing that its foundation reflects his thoughts and values.
Appeal for Kayastha Unity
Dr Srivastava expressed concern over the current state of the Kayastha community. Despite producing leaders like the first President of India and the second Prime Minister, the community lacks organization, he noted. He urged all Chitransh brothers to unite and strengthen the Kayastha society.
Poetic Tribute and New Initiative
Dr Srivastava recited a heartfelt poem, highlighting Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s contributions as a statesman, journalist, and humanist. He also proposed celebrating December 3 as International Chitransh Day to honor Dr. Prasad’s legacy and inspire unity within the Kayastha community.
