After casting a vote in Uthupatti (Karur), Tamil Nadu BJP president and Coimbatore candidate K Annamalai lashed out at DMK and AIADMK.
Annamalai alleged that the DMK and AIADMK have spent more than 1000 crores in Coimbatore to influence the voters.
The BJP candidate from Coimbatore stated that if the opposition can produce even a single individual who can assert that a BJP member is attempting to sway them, he will leave politics on that very day.
Annamalai said, “It is always a grave matter of concern. The reason is that DMK somehow thinks that it can buy people. AIADMK is also in the same boat for a long time.”
“The officials also turned a blind eye to what has happened, especially in Coimbatore, over the last 2-3 days. The administration there is sterile. But in democracy, you always have to trust people,” he added.

K Annamalai asserted that the people have seen 10 years of governance and they want it to continue for five more years.
The BJP candidate further mentioned, “People of Tamil Nadu are with PM Modi. We are confident, our party is strong and the people are with us and 4 June will be a historic result for NDA.”
“In Karnataka, we are expecting a clean sweep this time. BJP will be the number 1 party in Telangana. Tamil Nadu this time will deliver a very big resounding result, an increase in vote share,” Annamalai added.

Meanwhile, voting is underway in all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu today.
DMK leader Ganapathy P Rajkumar and AIADMK’s Singai Ramachandran are contesting against K Annamalai in Coimbatore.
Earlier in the day, Annamalai cast his vote at a polling booth in Uthupatti, Karur.
