Delhi School
An email bomb threat forced the evacuation of students from a school in south Delhi on Wednesday. Despite two searches of the property, nothing unusual has been discovered thus far, said authorities.
The police said, “An email claiming that a bomb had been planted on the school’s property was received at Indian Public School in Sadiq Nagar at 10:49 am”.
They said that the school was evacuated out of caution.

Videos taken from outside the school show a sizable throng gathered at the gate, largely made up of parents of the pupils. One of the parents said, “We got a message from the school requesting us to take our kids home”.
“This is not the first time that the school administration has received a bomb threat. In November of last year, the administrator received a similar email from an unknown sender. That email was a hoax. “Our teams, including the Bomb Disposal Squad and the dog squad, are on the scene”, senior police officer Chandan Chowdhary told news agency ANI.
This is not the first time. It had also happened in the past. The November hoax email was sent from Germany, so police are trying to figure out where it came from.
More information is awaited.
