The Delhi Police Special Cell encountered the alleged mastermind behind Sundar Malik’s brutal murder outside Gulshan Dhaba in Murthal two months ago.
The specialized unit of the Delhi Police took down the accused gangster identified as Ajay Singroha alias Goli.
Goli, associated with the notorious gang led by Himanshu alias Bhau, operated from abroad and was notorious for his heinous crimes.
Following this operation, discussions are rife about the resurgence of the Delhi Police Special Cell in tackling organized crimes and apprehending notorious criminals.
It is noteworthy that authorities have imposed stringent measures on criminals to disrupt their activities.
However, there has been a lack of significant action against them, fostering a sense of impunity.
According to sources, the Delhi Police Special Cell received intelligence about a major criminal planning to visit Kheda Khurd village in outer Delhi.
On Thursday night around 11:30 PM, the police team surrounded the accused who arrived at the scene in a Honda City car.
Despite warnings, he opened fire at the police team instead of surrendering.
In retaliatory action, he sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Later, authorities identified him as Ajay Singroha alias Goli, a fugitive from Rohtak.
Goli, accused of the brutal murder that took place outside Gulshan Dhaba in March, mercilessly killed Sundar Malik in broad daylight.
Moreover, just a few days before that incident, on March 6th, he created chaos by firing shots outside a businessman’s showroom in Tilak Nagar, Delhi, for extortion purposes.
According to police, a history of criminal activities linked to Ajay Singroha.
He faced charges of robbery in Rohtak in 2016, followed by an attempted murder case in Jhajjar in 2017.
