On Thursday, Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh played a prominent role as the keynote speaker in a discussion program over tea organized at Shalimar Gallant.
Alongside Dr. Singh, BJP MLA Ram Chandra Pradhan and Youth BJP leader Neeraj Singh were also present. They engaged in extensive conversations about the changes transpiring in the country, the state, and the city of Lucknow.
Addressing the progress in Lucknow, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh commended the efforts of Rajnath Singh towards the city’s development.
He highlighted ongoing developmental projects including roads, expressways, airport terminals, metro expansions, flyovers, ring roads, railway overbridges, and hospital advancements.
Dr. Singh emphasized the necessity of a robust government to ensure the security of the nation’s borders.
Sharing statistics related to national security, he underscored the importance of safeguarding the sensitive borders shared with Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, and Myanmar.
He also expressed concerns over recent developments such as the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan and instability in Myanmar, asserting the need for a stable government amidst such challenges.
Progress & Politics: Dr. Rajeshwar Singh’s Perspective
Reflecting on the economic progress made over the past decade, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh noted India’s ascent as the fifth-largest economy globally.
He highlighted significant increases in exports, reaching up to 64 lakh crores, and outlined the government’s objectives to further bolster the manufacturing sector and defense production.
Discussing environmental pollution, Dr. Singh advocated for initiatives such as promoting solar panels, ethanol-blended fuels, plastic bans, Ujjwala gas connections, Amrit Sarovar, and household tap connections.
Dr. Singh also praised the initiatives undertaken by the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, transforming it into a secure investment destination.
He contrasted the scenario during the BSP and SP regimes, citing instances of communal violence and challenging investment climates.
Under the current administration, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed remarkable growth, attracting major investments and witnessing significant improvements in ease of doing business.
Criticizing the opposition alliance, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh condemned their ideologies as anti-tradition and accused them of playing divisive politics.
He highlighted various projects approved for Sarojini Nagar, including the establishment of the first electric bus plant, creation of industrial and AI cities, among others, stressing the importance of re-electing a BJP government with a full majority.
