Deepak Boxer ‘The Most Wanted’ Gangster Arrested In Mexico, 1st Operation Conducted By Delhi Police Outside India

On Wednesday, gangster Deepak Boxer, who was the subject of the initial coordinated action in Mexico, was brought to Delhi. According to Special CP HGS Dhaliwal of the Delhi Police, Deepak Boxer is the most powerful gangster in Delhi-NCR. Dhaliwal told ANI that this is the first time a criminal has been brought from Mexico. The Special CP went on to say that the home minister gave the order for the operation. He will be questioned about the cases in which he has been involved, including the murder of a builder in Delhi’s Civil Lines neighbourhood, now that he has been brought to India.

Numerious Murder by Deepak Boxer

Deepak, the feared head of the Gogi gang, was wanted for the murder of builder Amit Gupta on August 23, 2013, in Burari, north of Delhi. On Facebook, Deepak claimed responsibility for the murder, claiming that the builder was murdered due to his proximity to the rival Tillu gang.

After the murder of gangster Jitendra Gogi in the Rohini court complex in 2021, Deepak, a former national boxing champion, assumed command of the Gogi gang. Two assailants shot Gogi and killed him. The police responded with gunfire that also killed the two attackers.

“An input was received in January regarding Deepak,” said Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) H.G.S. Dhaliwal in a press conference. He used the name Ravi Antil to make a fake passport in Bareilly and flew to Dubai from Kolkata. He travelled to Kazakhstan’s Almaty and then to Turkey from Dubai. After that, he set out for Spain and travelled multiple routes to reach Mexico.

The police claim that Deepak intended to enter the United States with the assistance of human traffickers in order to join his other associates and successfully lead their gang from international jails and states.

The “donkey method,” an illegal method of entering a foreign country through multiple stops in other countries, would have cost Deepak 40 lakh rupees to illegally cross into the United States through human traffickers, according to sources. According to the police, Deepak’s cousin Sandeep, who lives in California, is also thought to have assisted the gangster in evading capture.
