Congress MLA Amba Prasad Appears Before ED in Land Occupation and Extortion Case

Congress MLA Amba Prasad, hailing from Barka village in Jharkhand, made another appearance at the ED’s Ranchi office on Tuesday, April 9. Amba Prasad arrived at the ED’s Ranchi office around 3 pm, where her interrogation commenced. Earlier, on Monday, the ED had interrogated Amba Prasad and his brother Ankit Sav for 8 hours in connection with this case. It should be noted that Amba’s questioning is linked to the case involving the illegal occupation of lands in Hazaribagh and extortion from sand traders.

Speaking to the media after the interrogation, Amba stated that the ED had retrieved data from all the seized mobile phones. Most of the questions posed by the ED pertained to the electronic devices confiscated from them. Ankit’s mobile phone data was also retrieved, and inquiries were made regarding his income from the sand business. It is worth mentioning that the ED had summoned Amba on April 4, but she was unable to attend due to health reasons.
