Cold Wave : North India Under Grip of Bad Cold Conditions

Cold Wave: Cold appears to badly effect North India with its chilly waves during the last ten days of the last month of the year. As per the latest reports most parts of Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab witness minimum temperatures in the range from three to seven degree Celsius.

Cold Wave: India undergoes a bad cold wave conditions effecting particularly North India which witnesses a deep dip in the temperature.

Cold Wave: Cold appears to badly effect North India with its chilly waves during the last ten days of the last month of the year. As per the latest reports most parts of Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab witness minimum temperatures in the range from three to seven degree Celsius.

Cold Wave: In the Capital, the mercury plunges to 5.3 degrees Celsius on for last couple of days. Severe cold is being reported in Delhi along with several parts of north India whereas the weather office predicts cold wave conditions to continue for the next two days.

With temperatures considerably dipping in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh over the last week with the prevailing cold wave.

Dense fog covered Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab, along with parts of Uttar Pradesh. As per the Indian Metrological Department, foggy situations are likely to prevail in the Northern India till 27 December 2022.

North India alerted

According to the Met officials most parts of Delhi, Chandigarh and Haryana are undergoing minimum temperatures in the range of three to seven degree Celsius.

Officials also said due to foggy weather, low visibility has been affecting streets as well as the movements of trains at several places across India.

Rajasthan also experiences bad cold

Talk about Rajasthan, the Northern state experiences a record mercury dip this year where its hill stations of Mount Abu are experiencing snowfall whereas the gateway to the Thar, Churu is also recording temperature on zero degree Celsius.

Hilly Zones are also in the grip

For Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand along with West Bengal also, the weather department has predicted a dense foggy weather for the coming  few days. Officials reveal Maharashtra is also going to witness a dip in mercury.

Isolated snowfall has also been predicted by the Met over the Western Himalayan region. A yellow alert has been issued in the Southern state of  Tamil Nadu keeping the possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the state.

UP Bihar also on alert

Keeping the biting cold conditions of Bihar in view, schools in Patna  are going to remain closed for students till class 8 by the year-end. In UP Ghaziabad schools are also going to classes for students of Class one to eight from 10 am to 3 pm daily.
