Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh presented ₹11,793 crore worth of proposals, emphasising infrastructure expansion and thanking CM Yogi for his support.
In a significant step towards boosting development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting of the Lucknow division at his residence on Wednesday.
Public representatives from the entire district attended the session. Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh presented transformative proposals.
The meeting discussed 101 key structural projects under the Public Works Department with an estimated cost of ₹11,793 crore.
These include flyovers, Railway Overbridges (ROBs), Major District Roads (MDR-ODR), and both long- and short-span bridges.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Dr Singh highlighted the importance of these initiatives for the growth of Sarojini Nagar and the overall development of Lucknow.
Strategic Projects & Proposals
Dr Rajeshwar Singh sought approval for 17 projects across 11 departments to boost Sarojini Nagar’s economy and education.
Among the highlighted proposals were the establishment of the Agriculture Faculty of Lucknow University in Piparsand, a Foreign Language University in Chakauli, an Aero City, India’s largest convention centre in Vrindavan Yojana, and an AI City in Nadarganj.
He also proposed a BrahMos Missile Plant and a Girls’ Degree College in Latif Nagar.
Additionally, he suggested an Ashok Leyland Bus Plant to boost employment and industrial growth in the region.
Dr Singh thanked CM Yogi for prioritising Sarojini Nagar’s development and supporting the approval of key projects.
He further emphasised the need to fast-track ongoing initiatives, urging the Chief Minister to ensure strict monitoring and timely completion of all works to benefit the people of his constituency.
Large-scale infrastructure projects, educational institutions, and industrial developments will drive a comprehensive transformation in Sarojini Nagar.
The proposals presented in the review meeting aim to enhance connectivity, create employment opportunities, and foster socio-economic growth in the Lucknow division.
Dr Rajeshwar Singh reiterated his commitment to working alongside the state government to ensure Sarojini Nagar emerges as a hub of development, aligning with CM Yogi’s vision for a progressive and modern Uttar Pradesh.
