On his visit to Prayagraj, CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the ongoing Eye Camp at Kumbh and lauded the services provided to pilgrims.
The camp, an essential part of the Mahakumbh, has successfully treated 2.37 lakh patients and distributed 1.63 lakh pairs of glasses to the devotees.
The CM extended appreciation to the doctors and organizers, highlighting the excellent management and dedication in organizing such a large-scale service.
The camp, originally set to conclude on February 26, was extended by a day to accommodate more devotees.
CM Yogi was informed by the doctors about the meticulous planning that made it possible to offer efficient care to so many patients.
The success of the camp, according to the organizers, was due to the smooth and organized approach, despite the high volume of patients.
CM Yogi also emphasized the need for such welfare events in the future, pointing out that they contribute greatly to the health and well-being of the masses, particularly during large-scale religious gatherings like the Kumbh.
He noted that these initiatives not only provide immediate healthcare solutions but also build a long-lasting sense of community and social responsibility.
Such events play a crucial role in addressing health disparities and ensuring that even the most vulnerable populations have access to essential medical services.
The Chief Minister further highlighted that these welfare initiatives offer a unique opportunity to demonstrate the state’s commitment to public health and the well-being of its citizens.
He stressed the importance of continuing these efforts, especially as such large gatherings attract people from diverse backgrounds and regions, making healthcare services even more vital.
CM Yogi commended the collaborative efforts of everyone involved, from the medical professionals to the organizers, volunteers, and support staff.
He praised their seamless coordination and tireless dedication in managing the overwhelming number of patients, ensuring the success of the camp.
The Chief Minister congratulated them for their hard work and commitment, acknowledging that their collective efforts made a significant difference in the lives of thousands of devotees.
He also encouraged them to keep up the same level of enthusiasm and commitment for future initiatives, reaffirming the state’s dedication to improving public health and welfare on all fronts.
After his visit to the Eye Camp, CM Yogi also paid a visit to the famous Hanuman Temple in Prayagraj.
He offered prayers, thanked the saints, and expressed gratitude for their blessings in making the Mahakumbh a grand success.
CM Yogi’s visit to the temple symbolized the spiritual essence of the event, tying together both health and spiritual well-being for the devotees.
