Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the world is now looking toward India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with growing confidence. Addressing the 92nd Founder’s Week celebrations of the Maharana Pratap Education Council in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi noted that India is no longer in a state of confusion but is now leading global polarization. He stated, “Today’s New India decides the direction of polarization in the world. The world’s polarization is where India stands.”
India’s Rising Global Influence Under Modi’s Leadership
CM Yogi highlighted India’s transformation under PM Modi’s leadership, asserting that the country has become a symbol of strength in addressing global challenges. The Chief Minister noted that India’s participation is now crucial in global events, citing the G-20 summit as a testament to India’s growing global influence.

“Today, no major event in the world takes place without India,” he said, adding that India’s rise as the fifth-largest economy signals the country’s journey toward becoming self-reliant.

CM Yogi stressed that advancing the nation is not solely the government’s responsibility. He called upon institutions and individuals to share in this mission. “Now is the time to understand and accept responsibility, not avoid it,” he said. Referring to PM Modi’s vision for the next 25 years, CM Yogi emphasized the goal of making India a developed nation by its centenary of independence. “Every citizen and organization must play a role in making India self-reliant and contributing to this journey,” he added.
Technology Should Serve Humanity, Not The Other Way Around
The Chief Minister also addressed the role of technology in modern life. While acknowledging its importance, he advised students that technology should be driven by human needs. “We must adapt to technology, but we must also shape technology to suit us, not the other way around,” he said, urging the younger generation to harness technology to improve life, while ensuring it remains under human control.

CM Yogi further emphasized the global recognition of India’s talent. He pointed to Indian youth excelling in key roles at prestigious institutions worldwide. “Indian youth are proving their technical expertise across the globe,” he said, highlighting India’s role in shaping the future workforce.
Reflecting On The 92-Year Journey Of Maharana Pratap Education Council
Reflecting on the establishment of the Maharana Pratap Education Council, CM Yogi spoke about its 92-year journey. He acknowledged the vision of its founders, Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and Mahant Avedyanath, who, in 1932, established the Council during a period of national struggle for independence. He lauded their efforts to build a foundation that could prepare citizens to lead a free and independent India.
Discipline, Concentration, And Team Spirit Key To Success
During the inauguration, CM Yogi underscored the importance of discipline, concentration, and team spirit in achieving success. He encouraged students to focus on their individual growth while also fostering teamwork. “Concentration, hard work, and team spirit are the keys to success. If these elements are combined, nothing is impossible,” he said.
The Inaugural Ceremony And Dignitaries
The inaugural ceremony featured a series of events, including the offering of flowers to the statues of Maa Saraswati, Guru Gorakhnath, Maharana Pratap, and the founding figures of the Maharana Pratap Education Council. The ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Narendra Singh Tomar, and Prof. Rajiv Kumar, Member Secretary of the All India Council for Technical Education. The ceremony also included a grand procession, an exhibition at the Balrampur Hall, and a Guard of Honour by NCC cadets.

As the celebrations continued, CM Yogi expressed confidence in the Council’s future, underscoring the need for institutions to remain prepared to meet the challenges of New India. The event saw the participation of various educational leaders and dignitaries, including Vice Chancellors from multiple universities, elected officials, and educationists, all committed to advancing India’s educational landscape.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Arun Singh, Principal of Maharana Pratap Inter College.
