CM Yogi Adityanath Reviews Maha Kumbh Preparations; Ensures Enhanced Facilities

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring smooth transportation, better accommodation, and quick assistance for pilgrims at Maha Kumbh 2025. During his Prayagraj visit, he inspected multiple sites and provided key directives to officials.

The Chief Minister reviewed the grand Tent City in Arail, designed to house over 6,000 people. Officials informed him of the arrangements for food and other necessities, considering the cold weather. He emphasized timely completion of preparations to ensure a pleasant stay for pilgrims. He also assessed the VIP Circuit House, where 250 camps will be set up, including 175 reserved for Hon’ble Judges. Additionally, the Tent City will include 2,200 camps, supported by ADM-level officers.

The CM visited Dashashwamedh Ghat and performed Maa Ganga Aarti, accompanied by Vedic hymns. At Dashashwamedh Mahadev temple, he prayed for the successful organization of Maha Kumbh 2025.

CM Focuses On Tent City & VIP Circuit House Facilities

Yogi Adityanath inspected Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital and its 48-bed burn unit. The state-of-the-art facility includes an ICU and operation theatre, ensuring 24×7 services during Maha Kumbh. He directed officials to maintain sufficient medical staff, medicines, and emergency response services. Separate wards for men and women are also being arranged.

The Chief Minister stressed the need for special care for elderly, women, children, and disabled individuals. He instructed ambulance teams to minimize response times during emergencies. Officials assured him of the readiness of both permanent and temporary hospitals.

Railway & Airport Preparations Reviewed

At Prayagraj Railway Junction, the Chief Minister emphasized coordination between the state government and railway officials. With an estimated 10 crore people expected to travel by train, he suggested multilingual announcements for passenger convenience. He reviewed shelters at the junction, which can accommodate 22,000 people. Across Prayagraj, the railway has arranged shelter for 1 lakh individuals.

The CM inspected the medical aid center and mobile ticketing through UTS services. He discussed fire safety and reviewed the railway control room’s operations. Officials assured him of smooth transportation between the station and the mela area.

The Chief Minister concluded his visit at Prayagraj Airport, where he reviewed ongoing expansions. Airport officials highlighted preparations for accommodating increased passenger traffic. The CM instructed all work to be completed by December. Airport Director Mukesh Upadhyay assured him that day and night flight operations would commence by the first week of January.
