Ayodhya’s Transformation: From Power Shortages To Modern Connectivity

CM Yogi highlighted the remarkable development in Ayodhya since 2017, contrasting the city’s past struggles with its present progress. He recalled that before 2017, Ayodhya faced power shortages with only four to five hours of electricity a day. Cleanliness and infrastructure were lacking, and Saryu’s water was stagnant. Today, Ayodhya boasts improved road, rail, and air connectivity, with ongoing surveys to explore water routes for trade. The city’s transformation has been significant, with narrower streets being widened and Ram’s garden now clean and well-maintained.

CM Yogi further elaborated on the ideals of Ram Rajya, stating that Shri Ram’s rule was characterized by prosperity, harmony, and justice for all. He recalled the story of Shri Ram sending Hanuman Ji to check if Bharat desired the throne upon his return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. The message from Hanuman Ji confirmed that Bharat had waited for Ram with respect, not selfish ambition. This ideal governance system, where everyone prospered, continues to inspire India’s values and governance model.

A Call For Collective Responsibility

In his address, CM Yogi called upon all citizens to embrace their responsibilities in shaping the future of the country. “It is not only the government’s duty to advance the country; individuals and institutions must also contribute,” he said. He stressed that every citizen and organization must take part in India’s journey toward self-reliance, and work together to create a developed India by the time the country celebrates its centenary of independence.
