Class 11 Student Commits Suicide by Jumping off High-Rise in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A Class 11 student allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a high-rise building on Friday, as reported by the authorities. The incident occurred late Thursday night at the ATS Advantage Society near the Indirapuram Police Station.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Swatantra Kumar Singh identified the victim as Nav Khanna, aged 17. He stated that the youngster was last seen with two friends on the 24th level of the building. He was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead by physicians, with a suicide note discovered in his pocket, according to police.

“Initially, it appears to be a suicide. However, we are exploring all possibilities,” the officer stated, refraining from disclosing the contents of the retrieved suicide note.

According to authorities, the victim’s two companions, who were with him on the 24th floor, informed the police that they were taking photos when the incident occurred. They mentioned that Khanna told them he was going downstairs for work, and then they heard a commotion and realized what had happened.

“It seems that the deceased jumped while descending from the 24th level. We are examining CCTV footage in the area to determine where he jumped,” the officer explained. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation was launched.
