A violent clash erupted late last night in Rada Deoria village, located within the Bhira police station jurisdiction of Lakhimpur, leading to the death of two individuals and injuries to eight others.
The confrontation occurred between two local communities—the Rajputs and the Pasi—over the issue of stray animals. According to sources, tensions escalated rapidly, resulting in both sides using sticks and other makeshift weapons. The violence persisted into the early hours of the morning.

Tragically, two men from the Rajput community succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital in Lucknow. The eight injured individuals are receiving medical attention, though their conditions have not been fully disclosed.
In response to the violence, senior officials including the Circle Officer (CO) Gola and the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) have arrived in the village to assess the situation and restore order.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the clash and working to prevent further escalation of violence. Community leaders and local residents are urged to cooperate with the police to ensure a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
