Pending approval from the Central Government, Justice Sanjeev Khanna is expected to assume the role of Chief Justice on November 11, 2024. His tenure is anticipated to last six months, concluding on May 13, 2025.
Justice Khanna boasts a distinguished legal career, beginning at the Tis Hazari Court after enrolling with the Delhi Bar Council in 1983. He has amassed extensive experience in constitutional, criminal, and commercial law while serving in the Delhi High Court. In 2005, he was appointed as an additional judge in the Delhi High Court and became a permanent judge the following year.
