A vehicle driven by an unidentified individual forced its way into the Delhi Assembly premises on Monday afternoon. The car rammed through a high-security iron gate, triggering an immediate alert.

Officials from Delhi Police confirmed that the vehicle bore a registration number from Uttar Pradesh. Several masked occupants were reportedly inside.

The car broke through Gate No 2, designated as the VVIP entry point, at approximately 2 PM. Security personnel reacted swiftly as alarms were raised.

After entering, the driver exited briefly and placed a flower bouquet near the porch.

Authorities have termed the act highly suspicious and are treating it as a grave security breach.

Security teams secured the area immediately after the incident. Multiple units, including the bomb disposal squad, reached the place without delay.

A forensic team from the Forensic Science Laboratory commenced evidence collection.

Officials are now examining how the vehicle managed to penetrate the barricades despite stringent protocols.

Investigators are working to identify the suspects and ascertain their motive.

The breach has intensified concerns about security preparedness at the Assembly complex.

The site remains a sensitive zone due to the presence of senior officials and legislators.

The incident follows recent bomb threats during the Budget Session.

On March 25, authorities received an email warning of 16 RDX-based IEDs within the premises.

A similar threat surfaced a day earlier, prompting an extensive investigation. Police continue efforts to trace the origin and credibility of these threats.
