The BRICS Incubator Network will connect startups and incubators across member states.
India has proposed a BRICS Startup Innovation Fund to support innovative and scalable solutions.
The BRICS Network on Digital Agriculture will link artificial intelligence, geospatial technology and digital public infrastructure with farmers’ practical needs.
Prime Minister Modi said India has promoted inclusive technology adoption because weaponising technology and critical minerals can obstruct common growth. He announced a BRICS Integrated Early Warning System for infectious diseases and new disaster management guidelines.
The ‘Early Warning Data Integration Guidelines’ will strengthen disaster preparedness and response.
Prime Minister Modi stressed that BRICS cooperation should extend beyond governments.
Entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, women, youth and citizens should actively participate in the grouping’s initiatives.
