BJP’s Moradabad Candidate Sarvesh Singh Passes Away a Day After UP Constituency Casts Votes

In the upcoming elections, the opposition’s INDIA bloc has nominated Ruchi Veera to contest on the Samajwadi Party’s ticket.

Sarvesh Singh, a prominent figure representing the BJP in Moradabad, passed away a day after the first phase of general elections in Uttar Pradesh. Singh, a veteran politician with five MLA terms and one MP tenure to his name, had been battling illness for a prolonged period and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Delhi.

Moradabad, situated in Western UP and comprising five Vidhan Sabha segments – Barhapur, Kanth, Thakurdwara, Moradabad Rural, and Moradabad Nagar, witnessed a significant shift in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections when the Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party’s ST Hasan emerged victorious.
