BJP Unfurls Decision: Bhajan Lal Sharma Revealed As Rajasthan’s New Chief Minister, With 2 Deputy CMs

Bhajan Lal Sharma has been officially declared as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan following his triumph in the Sanganer assembly seat during the recent elections. The announcement was made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, with Vasundhara Raje, a notable contender for the position, revealing his appointment.

Notable figures like Gajendra Shekhawat, Mahant Balaknath, Diya Kumari, Anita Bhadel, Manju Baghmar, and Arjun Ram Meghwal were also in the running for the Chief Minister post in Rajasthan.

In addition to Bhajan Lal Sharma’s appointment, Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa have been designated as his deputies. The role of Speaker will be assumed by MLA Vasudev Devnani, a former state Education Minister hailing from Ajmer.

Bhajan Lal Sharma’s political journey in Rajasthan is characterized by noteworthy achievements, having served as the State General Secretary for the BJP on four occasions. His victory in the Sanganer assembly seat was substantial, securing 145,162 votes against his Indian National Congress (INC) opponent, Pushpendra Bhardwaj, who garnered 97,081 votes.

Despite being a first-time MLA, Bhajan Lal Sharma brings a wealth of experience and is affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad. His ascent to the Chief Ministerial role underscores his growing influence within the political landscape of Rajasthan.
