Bihar Polls: Amit Shah Accuses RJD, Congress Of Protecting Infiltrators

Addressing the crowd, HM Shah listed multiple scandals linked to Lalu Prasad Yadav, including the fodder scam, land-for-jobs scam, hotel sale scam, bitumen scam, flood relief scam, recruitment scam, AB Export scam, and alleged massacres.

“Lalu Prasad Yadav has done quite a lot,” Shah said, emphasising that the former Chief Minister’s tenure witnessed widespread corruption and misgovernance.

Turning to the sensitive issue of infiltrators, Shah accused the RJD and Congress of defending them.

Shah asked, “Should Bihar remove infiltrators from the voter list or not? Recently, Rahul Gandhi led a ‘Save the Infiltrators’ march, insisting they remain on the voter list. These infiltrators deprive our youth of jobs, take a share of rations meant for the poor, and threaten the country’s security.”

He vowed, “From the land of Ramnagar, I want to say: Rahul Gandhi, hold as many marches and press conferences as you like — the BJP will remove every single infiltrator across the country and in Bihar.”

Election Schedule and NDA Outlook

HM Shah reminded voters about the election timeline, saying, “Polling for the first phase in Bihar begins today; the second phase will take place on 11th November. Counting will start at 8 AM on the 14th, and by 11 AM, Lalu and Rahul’s party will have been completely wiped out from Bihar.”

Shah expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), asserting that the alliance would return to power with a decisive mandate.

“Under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, the NDA is going to form the government in Bihar once again with a massive majority,” he added.

Highlighting the NDA’s prospects in West Champaran, Shah said, “In the last election, we won eight out of nine seats. This time, I tell you to put all nine seats in the NDA’s kitty.”

He also emphasised cultural and religious development, referring to the construction of Ram and Sita temples.

“A grand Ram Temple has been built in Ayodhya. The authorities have laid the foundation stone for Goddess Sita’s temple in Sitamarhi. They will complete a magnificent Sita Mata temple in two years at a cost of Rs 850 crore,” Shah said.

Shah recalled the history of sugar mills in the region, claiming that West Champaran, once the sugar bowl of eastern India, suffered industrial decline during the ‘Jungle Raj’.

“Sugar mills shut down due to extortion. We restarted the Riga sugar mill. In the next five years, the BJP and NDA will work to reopen all closed sugar mills,” he said, highlighting the alliance’s focus on economic revival.
