Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday, seeking strategic guidance to advance the state’s development agenda.
Following the interaction, CM Choudhary shared a message on X, expressing appreciation for the Prime Minister’s support and emphasising alignment with the vision of a developed India and a prosperous Bihar.
Bihar CM stated that the Prime Minister’s encouragement and cooperation are accelerating the state’s growth trajectory.

Photographs released by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Chief Minister depicted a cordial exchange between the two leaders.
The meeting holds significance as it reinforces coordination between the Union government and Bihar’s newly formed administration.
Sources indicated that discussions covered the prevailing situation in Bihar, governance priorities, and actionable strategies to expedite development.
Both leaders reviewed mechanisms to strengthen Centre-state collaboration and ensure efficient execution of key welfare and infrastructure schemes.
This development gains importance as Bihar CM recently assumed office, marking the first instance of a leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party holding the Chief Minister’s post in Bihar.
CM Choudhary took the oath on April 15 at Bihar Lok Bhavan and has since initiated a series of review meetings to assess administrative performance.

Soon after assuming office, the Bihar CM visited Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib and offered prayers for peace and prosperity. The Gurudwara committee honoured him with ceremonial recognitions during the visit.

CM Choudhary also attended a women’s outreach event organised by the BJP Mahila Morcha in Patna, supporting the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill and reinforcing his government’s policy direction.
