Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi attended the ‘Bharat Literature Festival’ at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi today. He interacted with book lovers and shared his views on his career.
Bharat Express Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai presented Pankaj Tripathi with editions of his articles, ‘Hastekshep’ and ‘Nazariya’. Director of the Bharat Literature Festival, Deepali Vashisht, honored him with a shawl and a memento.
Motivational speaker and screenwriter Akshat Gupta interviewed Pankaj Tripathi during the event. They discussed his career journey and personal experiences.

When Akshat asked about his journey to Delhi, Pankaj Tripathi responded, “It was tiring because I didn’t sleep. I avoid sleeping on flights because I once fell ill for six months after sleeping. I managed to sleep for an hour before reaching here. I had khichdi for dinner.”
Akshat then ordered bananas, but Pankaj suggested eating chocolate instead.
Talking about his relationship with books, Pankaj Tripathi shared, “Books have deeply shaped my personality. In Patna, books are popular, and there’s a strong culture of reading among students.”
He also spoke about his struggles, saying, “I have struggled a lot but live on my terms.” When asked about his wishes, he said, “I’ve traveled a lot. Now, I want to explore more of Hindustan.”
Finally, Pankaj revealed that if he could be any object, he would choose to be a coconut tree because of its generous contributions to people.
