Information about new friends is also being collected from his social media accounts. Faizan Bakhtiar, a resident of GTB Nagar, Kareli, used to study in the MV Hall hostel of Aligarh Muslim University.
He got enrolled in the university’s Master in Social Work (MSW) and during his studies he came in contact with Abdul Samad of Sambhal. Both former IS chiefs often shared videos of Baghdadi on Instagram and WhatsApp groups.
After coming in contact with Wajihuddin, who worked for IS, the ideology of both of them became completely radicalized. Faizan and Samad along with others started working for the IS module.
