Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will flag off the second Vande Bharat Express train between Varanasi-New Delhi, from Varanasi on Monday.
Talking to media persons Himanshu Badoni, Divisional Railway Manager, Prayagraj Division, informed that this train will depart from Varanasi at 2.15 pm, Prayagraj at 3.50-4.05 pm, Kanpur Central at 6.00-6.15 pm, Etawah at 7.30-7.40, Tundla at 8.35-8.45, Aligarh at 9.40-9.50 hrs and will reach New Delhi as per the convenient open timing.
He further said that Indian Railways is committed to provide a pleasant travel experience to its passengers with better facilities.
This new concept of Vande Bharat Train to provide a pleasant, comfortable and better train travel experience to its respected passengers.The main objective of running Vande Bharat train is to connect one city to another in minimum time.
This modern semi high-speed train is a huge achievement for Indian Railways with superior design, interior and speed standards, providing a pleasant traveling experience to the passengers..
DRM added that this train will go from Baba Vishwanath’s city Varanasi via Prayagraj, Kanpur, to the country’s capital New Delhi. With this, devotees going to Prayagraj and businessmen, students and working people going to New Delhi including the industrial city Kanpur will benefit from an additional advanced travel facility.
Similarly Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also dedicate 402 km of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, New Deen Daya Upadhyay Jn.-New Bhaupur Jn.Built at a cost of Rs 10,903 crore, this section is located on the Delhi-Howrah railway route, which passes through Chandauli, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Kanpur Nagar and Kanpur Dehat districts of Uttar Pradesh, Mr Badoni added.
Among those present on the occasion were Sanjay Singh, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Central Railway,Shashibhushan Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Amit Singh Public Relations Officer .
