The Assam BJP is gearing up to intensify its membership drive next week, with a target to enroll over 40 lakh new members. The party has already made significant progress, surpassing 25 lakh members as of Tuesday, according to state BJP president Bhabesh Kalita. This milestone is part of the party’s larger goal to include 60 lakh people in the state.
The membership drive, which began digitally, will continue until September 25. Afterwards, the party will shift to an offline membership system. Special emphasis is being given to young generations, aged 18-25, with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urging block-level workers to prioritize their enrollment.
The membership drive has received excellent responses from various regions, including:
– Barak Valley region: Strong response
– Kamrup district: Encouraging participation
– Upper Assam area: Notable interest

The Assam BJP’s membership drive is expected to continue gaining momentum, with the party aiming to achieve its ambitious target of 40 lakh new members.
