Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Manisha Keer, Neeru and Aashima Ahlawat after the trio won the silver medal in the Women’s Trap Team event at the Asian Games 2026.
In a post shared by the PMO India, PM Modi praised the shooters for their ‘precision, focus and teamwork’ during the competition. He further congratulated the team on its podium finish and wished the three athletes continued success.
“Congratulations to Manisha Keer, Neeru and Aashima Ahlawat on winning the Silver medal in the Women’s Trap Team event at the Asian Games,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister added that he hoped the team would continue to excel and bring more honours to India.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated Keer, Neeru and Ahlawat on their silver-medal performance.
“Congratulations to Manisha Keer, Neeru and Aashima Ahlawat on winning the silver medal🥈 with a splendid performance in the Women’s Trap Team event at the #AsianGames2026,” Shah wrote in a social media post.
The Minister extended his best wishes to the three shooters for ‘bigger wins ahead’.

The silver medal adds to India’s campaign at the Asian Games 2026 and highlights the contribution of the country’s women shooters.
Keer, Neeru and Ahlawat secured the podium finish through their collective performance in the Women’s Trap Team event.
